I will photograph Run For The Border events if I am in town this summer season as I love the action of barrel racing. They are held at the beautiful Kerr Ranch on the Lower Klamath Lake Road. What a facility! Shelley and Charlie Kerr are the hosts. The light at the race on Tuesday June, 16, which started at 6 pm, was beautiful until it started to get darker. I took photos until the end but had to throw out a bunch at the end...just too dark...sorry! And I salvaged as many as I could that I took in the pre-darkness but they are grainy and soft.....you can see what went on but they are just not as good as when the light is good.
